VineLearn Academy is powered by Google Gemini, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistant. When you type a question, it is sent to Google's AI and the answer is sent back to you. VineLearn Academy supports students in Grades 1–12 with Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies — always in a kind, encouraging way.
We collect your parent or guardian's email address and, if they choose, their first name. Your parent provides your first name and grade level for your child profile. We do not collect children's email addresses or phone numbers. We also collect learning activity, such as subjects studied and activity times, and may collect technical details such as IP addresses and browser type. Messages you send to the tutor are sent to Google Gemini to generate answers; we do not permanently store AI chat text on our servers.
VineLearn Academy supports students in Grades 1–12. A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older must create and manage the parent account. Students use parent-controlled profiles created and managed by their parent — they do not independently register accounts. Children under 13 may not create an account on their own. Parents can review, change, or request deletion of their child's profile and associated data.
Clerk helps keep parent sign-in secure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your parent can see your learning activity and flagged content in their dashboard. The AI tutor is designed to stay on educational topics, but AI can make mistakes. Check important answers with a trusted source and ask a parent or teacher if something seems wrong or makes you uncomfortable.
We use Google Gemini to generate tutor answers and Clerk to manage parent sign-in. Tutor messages are sent to Google's API for processing. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we share with these service providers.
We may update this student summary when our policies change. The full Privacy Policy explains changes to privacy practices, and the Terms of Service explain changes to the rules for using VineLearn Academy. Ask your parent or guardian to read them with you.
